Join staff for a rugged hike along Alum Creek's primitive equestrian trail. We'll use eBird to identify bird calls as we scale steep hillsides and cross watery creeks on our way to the osprey overlook. It is breeding season for these powerful fish hunting raptors nesting on the manmade platforms in Alum Creek Lake. We'll also learn the history of Hogback Ridge Park! Wear sturdy hiking boots and bring binoculars. Limited quantity of trekking poles available for use.
